Laptop fan stops after a few seconds and screen is black

    I have a Lenovo G400 laptop which had got water spilled inside it.
    It had refused to switch on after that. After weeks of trying and heating it, it finally switched on.
    However, the processors fan turns off after a few seconds and then switches off. The screen remains black but the laptop is still on because other components still work like the CD Rom and the power LED indication light.

    1. Hi Immanuel, Welcome to WindowsBBS.:) Water damage could be severe so unless you have the expertise to disassemble and repair - it's off to a service agent. Insurance claim?
