Resolved Laptop drive running constantly when FF is open

    maybe this is weird but when I open FF actions run very slow ( typing websites, scrolling). I hear the "drive" running constantly like it is running a program or downloading an App.

    when I close FF the constant running stops. It does not happen with IE open.

    Is this something with FF I need to change?

    Hi ceyermann, Have you tried re-installing FF?
    Have you tried FF Help > Troubleshooting > Reset FF to Default?
    Can you tell us what OS you are using please.Neil.
