Laptop Crashfest

    Hello,

    Hope you can help me.
    My computer is really slow and freezes/crashes constantly.
    Whenever I start Internet Explorer it freezes and crashes too.

    Spybot detects an attempt to change a value from "ctfmon.exe" to "ctfmon32.exe ".
    What does this mean?

    What do you advice to do and which program should I install to detect/remove spyware/trojans, etc? :confused:

    Welcome to Windowsbbs.

    Please download and install HijackThis (let it install to the default location) and Run a scan then close HJT, then run RSIT.exe and post the log.txt log here.
