I am getting the following error: KSDPANEL.OCX or one of its dependencies not corectly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I serched the net and found a reference to KSDPANEL.ocx and followed the instructions but all the files that I was instructed to find and delete were not on the computer in the 1st place. Can anyone tell me what this error is and how to correct it? Thanks

Good that it is not registered correctly. Spyware and the less it is able to do, the better off you are.

What spyware removal app(s) are you using? It is possible that one of them might have disabled the thing and partly removed it but left little pieces?

I'm moving this to the security section for more expert looks.

I run 5 different spy-ware programs. Spy-bot, Microsoft's anitspyware, PCbug Doctor, Pest Control and Bazooka and after mentioning this, I remember that this problem started right after I ran PCBug Doctor. I will check out the 2 sites and see if this will solve the problem. Thanks...

As you saw, I was running about every spyware program out there and none of them could get rid of the problem. The error is apparently related to something called "Second Sight ". I purchased and downloaded a program called Spy Sweeper and it found the Second Sight spyware and deleted the problem. I found that this is probably a key stoke logger. I also found out that Music Match has a key stroke logger. For what purpose I don't know. But to answer your question, problem gone. Spy Sweeper cost $20 for a yearly subscription and can be found at www.webroot.com :)
