I have a Windows XP computer. On my keyboard, on the top row, I have the following keys: F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, F10, F11, F12. Can anyone give me a web site which will tell me exactly what each of those keys do? Thank you very much. abm

They are called function keys. They are application specific. In other words they do different functions depending on the application they are used in. For instance in Firefox & Internet Explorer f11 sets the window to full screen. F1 normally brings up Help in MS programs.

On some keyboards they can be programed for different functions.
Don't recall ever seeing a website which showed what each keys does except in application help screens.
