Can anyone tell me how to turn off the keyboard shortcuts (ALT+B for bold etc) in MS Excel and Outlook XP ?

I have a customer who keeps catching multiple keys whilst typing on his laptop keyboard (no he cant just use an external keyboard !)

I solved the problem in Word with Tools-->Customize-->Keyboard and then removed every single one of the shortcuts (mouse operation is fine) however the Keyboard button is not there on the Customize menu in Outlook and Excel

I guess Macros may turn stuff off but I'm getting desperate now as he wants a new laptop if something doesnt fix this soon

    TIA

    Andy

Office Resource Kit should have the tools to do what you want with the Office apps.

The XP shortcuts are tougher. Maybe work with M$ tech support on that one? Should be a free case. I suspect a reg hack somewhere but can't locate an appropriate place and can't find any article where someone else did and published it.
