   Why does my keyboard get ahead of the text typed? I can get ahead of the text by a whole sentence!

   Sounds like a flakey keyboard to me - in a specific program or in general ? ......
   
   Ununstall & reinstall ant keyboard software.
   
   Uninstall keyboard through Device manager and reboot.
   
   Try another keyboard or try your keyboard onn another computer.
   
   If this is a laptop ....
   
   Try an external keyboard.
   
   Also try turning off the Touchpad.
