Sometimes, when running certain programs, I'll get Kernel32.dll errors in the form of Illegal Operation messages, right? When I go to close them, they continue to pop up, no matter how many times I hit close. This prevents me from using Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and restarting my computer normally. What can I do to get rid of these unclosable errors?

Hi AlterD - Welcome to the Board :)

Try running System File Checker - Start > Run > type in sfc.exe > Enter.
