   hi if there is anyone out there that can tell me how i can get microsoft kernel wave audio mixer for windows xp sp2 for free let me know as ive tryed all i no , and i still have no sound its doing my head in now

   Have you tried re-installing your sound drivers? These will usually be found on the "resources" CD that shipped with your PC or computers motherboard.
