I am very new to the world of PC and Office 2007. Please understand if I have trouble expressing myself. When I am keying I would like, need, the foucus to follow the keystrokes. Can this be done? If yes how can I do it?

Markmadras, thanks for the prompt reply. After holding the ALT key for 10 seconds gray boxes containing shortcut keys did not appear. Am I not holding the ALT key long enough, or do I have a more basic problem? So, again please come to my rescue!

In theory - you shouldn't be losing focus unless you click somewhere else. Could you give us more details to what your problem is?

Steve, I guess I should have told why I need the focus to stay on the screen area I'm keying into. I am legally blind and must use the Win 7 magnifier. My keying is so bad even spell check can't help my typos. In the past as the key strokes progressed along the screen the magnifier remained focused on the letters/numbers I was entering. I hope this gives you the information you asked for.

When you first start Magnifier, you get a small window with various icons. Click on the round one that looks like a gear. In the window that opens, you can set various options about where you want the magnifier to focus.
