    Hello
    I have a windows 2000 network with 1 server and 4 workstations.
    Server Windows 2000 Server
    Workstation Windows 2000 Pro

    Networked as Workgroup not domain.
Workstations do not logon to a domain.
I need to synchronize the time on all the computers in this network and synchronize them to a time server.
Can anyone help me with this please.
    Thanks in advance!

Download a program called NIST. It will sync your PC clocks to one of the Internet time servers. NIST website

It works quite well and in the background.

Put Precision time on all of them.
you can have it contact the atomic
clock for a reset once a day or
whatever is best. It is on the
Gator site and is free no popups

Why do you have a 2000 server running on a network and not using it as a domain controler?
There are so many advantages to clients logging on to a domain (including sync time) I just had to ask.

Windows 2000 can use NTP servers. There are several of them and most providers have one.

Open a command promt and type:

    NET TIME /SETSNTP[:ntp server list]

Make sure Windows Time service is running.
