Hi, is there a way to keep IE in the task bar to keep it in memory? So it will launch faster?

I do it by just minimizing an IE Window and leaving it on the taskbar. One click and it’s instantly back full screen and ready to use. With one IE Window already open others will open in half a second. Starting IE the first time may take up to 2 seconds, but it’s hardly long to wait. How long does yours take? If you set a blank home page then it starts quicker as it’s not trying to download and display a web page every time you open it.

Hi McTavish, thanks for replying. It takes about 4 sec. when loading a page. I'll take your suggestion and start with blank page. Loads much faster that way.
