KB891711 has altered system files

    Win 98 diagnostics has reported that 'KB891711 has altered windows system files. I now get numerous fatal error messages, can KB891711 be causing this and what can I do about it: :confused:

    If that was the originally released version of the update it was known for being buggy. Boot into Safe Mode and remove it from Add/Remove Programs.
