Just had the experience of MS Cumulative update KB3206632 stalling at 95% download. I tried a couple of Restarts and it finally completed the download and installed OK. I checked the Update History and found it had recorded the Failed attempt in the log. This was followed by an entry for an Adobe update (KB3209498) which installed on same date. I wondered whether the Adobe update was the cause of the KB3206632 failed 1st. attempt.
What it proved to me was that Shutting down/Restarting does not affect MS downloads.

While not common, I occasionally have an update that fails to install properly. I have gone through all sorts of actions in attempts to get it to work. In the end, I have just let it be only to find out during the next couple weeks, it installs properly. I can only assume Microsoft, after receiving a bunch of reports of failed updates, figures out what failed, what prerequisite etc., needed to happen, then sorts it out.

In other words, I stopped worrying about it because thus far, it all get sorted out in the end.

Thanks for the thumbs up Bill. I see others get all worked up about stalled updates. It pays to "Keep Calm and Carry On" as the Brits say.

My desktop also got stuck at 95% for a couple of hours. Rebooted & tried again. Again got stuck. Was able to install it only after 2nd reboot.
