kazaa not connecting

Hello helpers !

I love using kazaa to get the latest music, however my friend is totally distressed as we cannot get it to work on her computer. We are both using the latest version.

Tried unistalling / installing and played with all the settings etc. Her connection is dial up with no proxy. She can use Internet Explorer to browse and download with no problems, but Kazaa just sais "connecting" but never actually connects hence she can't download anything!

She is using Windows ME

Please Help before she gets even more depressed !

Happens to me when I open KaZaA. What I do is File > Disconnect, then File > Connect. Also, make sure a username was configured. Some anti-spyware apps will prevent it from running. Finally, if you have had ZoneAlarm installed, make sure it is on, then allow KaZaA to access to the 'net and as a server.
