Just joined

Hello everyone, I have been trying to fix a problem with our computer at home. I came across this site and it looks like it will be helpful and useful as I try to better understand our computer. I just posted in Malware section the problem we have been experiencing.

I have used computers at home and work for quite a while now. I have taken some courses in computers and I would like to learn more. I would like to be able to to set my computer at home up so that I don't have to worry when my teenage son uses it to go on sites to watch movies, shows or download music.

I also want to set up a network so that I can use another computer to record music when some friends and I get together.
