just ignored an incoming call !!!

    when using ie6 under xp pro i keep getting a box coming up telling me " you have just ignored an incoming call" after a few of these i lose my connection. i dont have call waiting or caller id.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Updating your modem drivers should resolve the issue.

    If, however, you happen to be using a SmartLink 56K modem, this will not solve the problem. If this is the case and you have a support CD from the company which supplied the PC (I'm assuming that it shipped with the modem pre-installed), locate a file called SL_XP_HOTFIX.01.BAT and double-click it. This is all you need do and after rebooting the message should not reappear. If you don't have a CD, post back.

    No support cd

    yes i am using a smartlink 56k modem but no i dont have a support cd, modem was supplied with a windows 98 system and i upgraded to XP also updating to XP modem drivers.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
