Just Formatted [hard drive 'missing']

    Hey community,

    I've just finished formatting my computer, I've installed all drivers for video cards blah blah... and i go to My Computer... and my D:/ drive isn't on the list... C:/ is but not D; can someone please assist me on this issue.

    Hi dan, assuming you have detected the drive in the Bios......go to my computer > right click > manage> disk managment>and right click on the disk you want to give a drive letter too.

    Dan, how many HDD's are connected to your system and how many optical drives? It is normal for the CD-ROM drive to be dubbed the D: drive although not mandatory. What was the D: drive on your system previous to the reformat? If it was a HDD, was it a separate physical HDD or a partition of the Primary HDD? Give us all those details on how the system drives were named before the reformat and it will help us help you.
