Just Checking in

Good evening to all from Atlanta Georgia.
After FINALLY jicking one of the kids off of the PC long enough I thought that I would check in and let you folks kniow that all was well.
We are having a great time with Kids and grankids. Not nuch time for computer but can take care of that later when we get home.

I was just outside for a smoke and the wearher is absolutely GREAT.

Crystal clear sky and nice bright stars. A bit noisy at times though as we are not that far from Atlanta Airport.

Nancy needs my help so I will sign off for now and hope to see Y'a'll tomorrow some time. IF we can get holiday shopping done in time that is LOL. It seems that every time we do go shoppiing, when we get home I hear "Oh Shucks !! WE forgot something to use to stuff the Turkey with. Oh well tomorrow is another day.

Good evening from Norcross Georgia.

We most certainly are doing just that. A bit in the cool side and a bit damp but the rain is MUCH needed down here.
The food was great. And I have say LOUD and CLEAR that it was a real FAMILY meal. We all helped a little bit in preparing it. We just kept Nancy away from the Stove and hot stuff.
But I must say here that TOUGHEST part of the trip so far was this morning when I was asked a question by a NINE YEAR OLD.
Is there any cure for what Grandma has ?
It would be much easier to help someone thousands of miles away fix a PC.
With tears in my eyes I had to be honest with them and say no.
We talked a bit more and then I was asked another question.
You really care for Grandma don't you.
All I could say was I most certainly do.
And the reply was " Thank you for doing that. "
Then headed for the backyard and the Basketball court.
BTW. I won.

Good evening to my World wide Friends.

We are back in Marrietta Georgia. 7 Grandkids. Another somwaht rainy evening but much needed.
I was just sitting here a few minites ago yelling at a BADLY mis-behaving 8 year old who was giving me a hard time when I heard the words. "You had better listen to Grandpa or if he gets out of his chair I will turn my back."
( that was Grandma speaking )
WOW !!! did things ever chance in a hurry."

I was aksed what I wanted for Christmas and " not too much really. "
Reply. " That is good because that is mostly what you were gitten anyway. " Grandma had to leave the room. L & L & LOL.

My Best Year round gift would be to hear that Nancys shouder was MUCH better.
Holly Smokes !! I SEE IT IS PAST My bed time. So will say goonight and go make sure Nancy is tucked in tight.

Well Folks We are checking out of Marriette Georgia hope to be will be back in Marlborough New York by noon time.
We had have a great time and and LOTS of GREAT Southern cooking.
And HOSPITALITY !!!
Well I gotta go help Nancy and then get our stuff together as we will have to be out of here by at least 5:30-6:00 AM.

Good Afternoon to Y'all

We are home. Very nice smooth ride. The driver/pilot did a good job. Until he hit the brakes I did not even realize we were actually on the ground. I looked over and Nancy was still napping.
Next came the job of unpacking and deciding what belongs to who. Then out to dinner ( Nancy is tired and I am lazy LOL )

We found this in a suitcase and in a frame. It is now hanging right next to our dining table in PLAIN site.

Have we told you lately that we love you ?
You fill our hearts with love and care.
Also you help us handle sorrow and gladness.
When we are around you, you help us get through trouble.
Just remember that we'll always love you and care about you and be with you all the way through your lifetime. We will love you forever and we will never forget you. We will love you for who you are.

And if that alone does not make the trip worth it the NOTHING does.
