chi - Welcome to the Board :)

Perhaps you could explain your problem in more detail .....

Do you want to enter data into a cell in one spreadsheet and have it also appear in another? In other words you want to link the spreadsheets together in some cells?

To do this in Excel 2003 (2007 is likely to be the same) highlight the cell or range of cells in Spreadsheet 1 that you wish to link to cells in Spreadsheet 2 and click on the Copy icon in the Standard toolbar. Then go to Spreadsheet 2 and highlight the top row of the cells to be linked and click on the Paste icon in the Standard toolbar - the data will be pasted into the cells amd there will be an icon on the spreadsheet at the lower righthand corner of the pasted area. Click on this to expand and select Link Cells. Data entered into the cells in Spreadsheet 1 will also be entered into the cells you selected above in Spreadsheet 2.

Instead of using the toolbar icons you can right click on the cells to be copied/pasted and select copy/paste from the right click menu.

For more information - in Excel go ....

Help > Microsoft Excel Help (or press F1) and in the Search For box type Link Spreadsheets and hit the Arrow to the right of the box. In the list which appears select Create a link to another cell, workbook or program.
