I am having a problem with a webpage that will not show the links that are listed at the bottom on the page. I am using MSEI6 and I have discovered that people using Netscape can see the links but I can't using MSIE6. Since Javascript is a Netscape program that should work on all browsers does anybody know why it won't work using MSIE6 ?? Do I have a plug in for Javascript that may be defective ??
The page that is giving me a problem is www.dryl.org I would appreciate MSIE6 users to check this site to see if you can see the links listed at the bottom of the page. If you can see them please let me know because this would indicate that my MSIE6 brower has a problem.

I don't have IE6 but, I just replied to your other post, http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7874 Java error statement ???? then saw this post. You asked in the other thread about the Microsoft VM and Sun's Java so I thought I'd answer here. Hope this helps:

When I go to the webpage using Mozilla browser, which uses Sun's Java, I see the Sun Java system tray icon appear. The page shows a bunch of links under the lighthouse image, including DRYL Pages, President's page.....total of 17 links, last being Delaware Trip Additions, right before the text, (Discussion Page on places to go on the Delaware River).

In IE5.5sp2 which has the the Microsoft VM enabled, in addition to the links mentioned there are four flags above the two photos, and the text, DRYL -- "The voice of the Delaware River’s recreational boaters. Poker Run results on the "news" page appears as a scrolling marquee. In Mozilla, the text doesn't scroll. Guess Mozilla doesn't understand the <marquee> html tag.

If you are unable to see the links it looks like a Java problem, not javascript. Check the other thread for more information.
