Javascript not working

My IE6 javascript has stopped working, I can no longer click on a java created button, a nightmare if shopping on the net. I have uninstalled\reinstalled IE, also downloaded the latest VM from microsoft, still no joy.

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

Which operating system are you using? Are there any error messages in the windows or in the lower left corner of the status bar?

 

Hi Kevin, thanks for the response.

I'd actually forgotton about this post and have in the meantime figured out what was causing the problem. It was a little program I use call AdsOff, gets rid of popups and ads! It thought that the java links on web pages were popups and so didn't load them.

Thank you for updating us with the solution. It has become more and more common for the normal operation of "pop-up stoppers" to appear a java or scripting problems.
