I have a game I like to play online but when I go to the website, I am getting a message that JAVA is corrupted, and I need to download a new copy of my browser. I did that, but it still doesn't work. I also read somewhere that I can download the current VM by downloading microsoft VM but that didn't help either. I now have both internet explorer 5 and 6. I have windows 98SE. What do I do? :)
    Thank you.

I wrote this at another BBS sight because someone was helping me with another problem. He sent me a reply. You'll see it at the bottom.

Yeah, I did see that after I replied. I'm thinking that if the problem is only occuring on that one site then the issue is on their end, not yours. I can't see anything left in your startup profile which I think could cause a conflict.

There is an MS troubleshooting link here:

    http://support.microsoft.com/direct...B;EN-US;Q168806

Try going to the MSN page they link to and see if you get any errors there

I like to play the game called Poppit at www.ea.com, and for the last several days I was getting a corrupt Java message. The page above that Ramblin gave me links you to another game, and if it works, they have you click on a link that says having a problem with one sight, if it does not work, you click on a link that says, having a problem with all sights.
Let me know how you make out, ok? Good Luck!!!: rolleyes:
