    Hi Ramona
im unable to load any of yahoos game pages any more i get
    Applet gamehouse SuperApplet notinited
    loading java applet failed
    im running Netscape 7.1
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Netscape/7.1 (ax)

I read the java script error lucky had posted on 10/31/03
and i have java enabled, i went to my control panel and there are TWO Java plugins listed, one just says Java Plugin, and the other one says Java Plugin 1.4.0_03

i opened the one that just says java plugin and it has an 'update tab' (but the other one doesnt) so i went ahead and got the update.

and in the Browser tab it only lists IE and Netscape 6 (i dont even HAVE NS 6 installed on this HD) why isnt NS 7 listed?
in the Advanced tab in the top it shows use Java Plug-in default, and in the drop down list it shows 1.4.1_02 and 1.4.0_03

i rebooted and tryed to log in and play on yahoo again, now im getting Y.mjs.0.notinited

regardless of which browser i use.
    Please help

ps i also get the same errors when trying to play at pogo.com

    Hi So0o0Confused,

You need to uninstall both Versions of Java and then reinstall only one version.

Uninstall Java through Add/Remove, then go to the Sun Java Site and download 1.4.1_04, or 1.4.2, (unless you are running Windows 95) and install: Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE).

Once installed, then check your Netscape plugins folder for the following files:

    NPJava11.dll
    NPJava12.dll
    NPJava13.dll
    JPJava32.dll
    NPJPI14X_0X.dll (depending on the Version)
    NPOJI610.dll

In the later Versions the Java Console located in Control Panel | Java Plugin
    will list:
    Microsoft Internet Explorer
    Netscape 6 or later
    Mozilla 1.1 or later

As to why Netscape 7.1 is not listed, I don't know? I do have both Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla 1.5 installed, and the Java plugin found both installations.

Once this is done, see if you can access the game site. Ensure that cookies are enabled for the site, and that your Firewall isn't blocking the site.
