Any idea what setting I need to rest.

As usual I haven;t reset anything, but none of my passwords seem to be working today either?

I get the page that I'm used to seeing & the small box appears in the top right corner & done for the status.

Have vistied these pages many times & even the 'load java app' button doesn';t start teh app.

Thanks in adavcne for any assistance.

Simple things first...empty the browser's cache. A corrupted file in there and IE chokes.

Then empty Temporary Internet Fiiles...easiest to do through the Disk Cleanup app. (Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup)

If that doesn't help, go here and see if the information there is what you need.

Thanks I clear cache daily. The link you menitoned talks about IE6 opening blank (empty) windows. My porblem sems different, the window that is opened has a message saying 'if java app doesn't opne then clikc here' Well the java app doesn't start & the click on the HERE, causes no action????

Still no java apps loaded. I went to the link recommended. In

my computer/tools/folder options/file types URL is Internet Location Service. It has no reference to Java.

This page tests the java in your browser and also gives browser configuration settings if java is disabled:
