    Hello all,

I have recently started a new job and I have replaced the old IT guy.

Bad thing is, that he was Polish and the PC I'm using is all in Polish!

Now, I've sorted out the MS Office but I still can't seem to change the Win2000 O/S.

Would I have to do a re-install or is there an option that I can change to get it all back to English???

    Any help is appreciated :),

    Cheers,

    Sam.

Couldn´t find any mention with lots of searching.

My guess would be a complete reload though.

It doesn't make sense that one would have to wipe out and reinstall from scratch just to change the language. Personally, I have no experience with this so I could be wrong.

Have you searched the MS Knowledge Base?

Well, you'll either have to wipe out windows and start over or you'll have to go to another machine and search the knowledge base.

He's making money. Why should he change anything when you will buy it like it is?

The language for the OS is tightly meshed with all the other code. Not just a simple matter of selecting the language of your choice. The OS versions are different for the various languages.

Why is a reload of the OS to get one in English such a big deal?

It's not really, it's just that I don't have the time to do a re-install and then reconfigure the PC and then re-install all the software!

But I suppose I have no choice...

    Thanks for your help peeps.
