I have realised recently that sending messages to at least 3 different username@hotmail.co.uk addresses from Outlook have failed to reached the intended recipients. Sent folder shows message as sent with no errors but the people I have sent the messages to have definitely not received them. Sending to the exact same addresses using webmail the people receive the messages so it's not an address error?

Thanks SpywareDr. however, I'm pretty sure it's not that. As said in my OP if I send the message via webmail (from my same e-mail address) the recipients get it ok. It's just from Outlook that it looks like it was sent but the receiver never gets it. Odd?

I know that this may be a dumb question, but have you checked to make sure that the address are correct. Have seen a , where a . should have been. Done this, been there.

    Thanks Mr Bill.

Yes that was the first thing I checked. Ironically they worked in outlook out of the 2007 version it seems to be an issue with Outlook in 2010. I have copied the addresses out of outlook contacts and pasted into my webmail and they get through fine that way.

    Issue remains. Thanks reminder Steve.

Workaround is to send any messages to my name@hotmail.co.uk contacts via web mail but obviously that's not ideal.
