Windows XP Home, Sp 3. This AM when I booted up, the computer stalled with the message "isdelete program not found—skipping autocheckâ€. I rebooted and it came up with the "window" which allows you to start in the last known configuration and it did start. I think it paused with the isdelete….message and then continued. I’m hesitant to restart again until I can at least get this problem entered in the forum.

I did some "Googling" and found that it seems to be related to AdAware, although I’ve never had this problem before. I uninstalled AdAware and then deleted the LavaSoft entry in windows/programs. I then ran ccleaner and found no Lavasoft entries, but while searching the registry, I found several Lavasoft entries, but did not do anything with them.

I don’t know if what I have done is part of an approach to fixing the problem or not, but at least it didn’t hurt anything.

I would appreciate your help in solving this problem.

Quick search does look like an issue with AdAware and its been around for a few years.

Click on Start->Run and type: MSCONFIG

Look in the startup tab and make sure AdAware isn't listed and or checked.

Most people stopped using Adware a good while ago;)
