The installed Windows 7 Professional is 64-bit. How can I tell if the Windows XP Mode is 64-bit, or 32-bit? I need to know it becuase the Internet Explorer in the Windows XP Mode is only version 6, and I need to choose between 32-bit/64-bit during the IE8 download.

Windows XP Mode itself is 32-bit. There is no Windows XP Service Pack 3 in 64-bit.

The 64-bit WindowsXP (Professional) is only at SP2, as it shares it's code with Windows Server 2003.
