    WinXP, SP2.

I found this in the Startup, dont remember seeing it before....

    PD0630 STISvc RunDLL32.exe P0630Pin.dll,RunDLL32EP 513

Anyone have info on what this does? I ask because my sys won't
shutdown most of the time (I thought i had this fixed previously).

    Thanks,
    savagcl

savagcl--That is a pretty strange entry which I understand you are finding in System Configuration Utility|StartUp tab.
STISvc by itself is a little suspicious.
    StiSvc32.exe is a worm
    http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php?filter=STISvc
    StiSvc.exe is OK http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/stisvc/
    http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_s.htm
assuming you have a digital camera.
I think I would run the procedure here

    conditions) or not........

    No worm.

Rundll32 is a standard way of running DLLs as EXE files.
There is nothing suspicious about it.

Your entire entry matches exactly the installation INF file from Creative.
