Any way they are compatable, any type of adapter or connector you can buy to hook up your TV instead of your moniter?

I have not set up a TV as a monitor before, but I know that the computer handles them differently. I am not sure you could use the TV as a primary screen unless it is described as a TV/monitor.
    Have a read through this:

If it is not a "TV/monitor" it should still work fine as a secondary screen.

    Check it's specifications and manual.

Edit: Could even try a private message to Grunty and find out how he got on. He would be an expert now :)

It won't work right with an analogue TV no matter how big the screen is. The computer has to set the rez down to 640x480 if I remember right, and the picture looks like crud on the TV screen. You need to get a digital TV that can double as a computer monitor, like one of those new HDTV-ready monitors I've seen for $15,000 and up.

Thanks for the reponse guys. It appears it is more costly than I had anticipated and may not work anyway. It was just a thought on my part so I could have a big screen to read instead of a small one.
