Is there a software for windows like compizconfig for ubuntu?

You might get more input here if you explained what compizconfig is/does.

 

Compiz is a *nix desktop window manager and 3-D effects package. Animated windows, transparancies, scroll effects, min-max window effects, etc. etc.

There are some apps by Stardock for Windows, but not as complete as Compiz or Cairo Dock (MAC-like dock/taskbar). Beryl is a similar *nix window manager that joined with Compiz to form what's now Compiz Fusion (current Ubuntu window manager the poster mentions).

DeskSpace (formerly Yod'm 3D) is a Windows software that has 3-D cube effects similar to Compiz.
