    Is their a way to turn off updates?
    It's 1803 I think.

    Yes. Start > Settings > Update & Security > Advanced Options > Toggle the Pause button to ON.
    Note: This will Stop updates for 35 days. You will need to enable and install the latest updates again BEFORE you can PAUSE updates again.
    It is advisable to let Windows 10 automatically deliver updates when they are available as YOUR comp SECURITY is the Prime concern.
