I was wondering if their was a way to copy something and print it when their is no menu. It won't highlight. Two good example are, 1 when you get an error message and I want to copy it, so I do not have to write it down 2 Open a explorer window and want a hard copy of the info but their is no menu bar.
I tryed print screen, but it makes it so small one can't read it after it been inserted in a word Doc

Try this guide, the trick is to use Microsoft Paint, the article describes how to do this copying a web page but the same instructions apply whatever you use Print Screen for.

I use a program called MWSnap. It allows me to take a picture of anything on the desktop.

You can press 'Print Screen' next to F12 on your keyboard and then paste it onto any Word document. Once there, you can right click on the picture and use 'Format Picture' to eliminate anything you don't want.

I never thought of different operating systems, so I don't know.

I'm sure there are other similar programs that work as well as MWSnap

If you use the ALT key with the PRINT SCREEN key then paste it into a word document you will get only the error message window which you will be able to resize as needed.

    Cheers
