My son has just started going to myspace.com and ever since I been bombarded with pop ups, malware, and the like. Does anyone no for sure if this is a website to avoid or is there something else on the site that he may be clicking on that is causing these anoyances?

    Thank You for your help!

Their business practices were certainly suspect enough to raise the wrath of Spitzer. According to this article, they are being sued byNew York's AG. If your son has downloaded anything from the site, you may indeed have spyware installed on your computer.

We did recently have a user with malware problems he also felt were related to myspace.com, and the infection is not only new, but spreading rapidly. Click the Tools button on the IE menu and then Internet options. Click the Security tab, then the green Trusted Sites icon. Click the sites button and see if neededware.com is listed, or anything you didn't put there. If so, I recommend you post a HijackThis log in the Removal forum.
