So is it (vista) more stable than xp? I admit that xp was very stable compared to previous os'. come to think of it I think I have only had one real crash I had a virus a couple of yrs ago.
I dont care to see the error report window pop up as in xp when another program crashed.

Has anybody created a dual boot with xp as the second? :)

I've been running Vista for a while. Hasn't gone down on me yet. As for games, I'm not a big gamer but I play a little CSS now and then and it seems to run just fine on Vista. There, you got a nibble. :D

I've been running XP Professional and Vista for quite awhile now... I haven't had any problems yet... Well except for being able to look inside a RAR or ZIP file on a CD... but other then that no problems...

Ah.... good, I like a lil humor.
Back to games the rumor is that they are going to port over Halo2 for Vista.
I'm not a big gamer anymore since I have developed wrist trouble but does sound like fun tho. :)

I'm a gamer and I'm looking forward to the DX10 support, even if it's not available on XP. However I'm afraid because when it comes time to get Vista, that means my vid card has to upgrade too. And because I'm an IT tech, I probably won't convince myself to settle for anything less Business or Enterprise edition, since I want to be able to have as much access to as many of the features as financially possible.

I'm looking at a lot of $$$ to upgrade :( Well I guess we all are looking at high $$$ upgrade amts

I'm running the Vista RTM with XP in a VM - no issues and no crashes! I had plenty of crashes with RC1 and 2 - so this is a relief.
