Is IE8 the release or beta version?

    Just recently installed IE7 when Microsoft sent it via the automatic updates, now IE8 is available? Is this the release version or beta? Any idea when Microsoft will send out IE8 via automatic updates?

    I just checked and I do have IE8. Don't know what I was thinking about.
