    Firefox/Vista
I have no idea, for how long I've had it, but I only noticed it recently.
In Google, under a search bar, I have two radio buttons:
    - Search
    - Pages from Malaysia
I kind of find it funny, but does anyone have any idea, what the heck is going on.
I'm not Malaysian, that's for sure.
    Here is a screenshot:
    Malaysian Google

Are you using proxies to surf? Or have you somehow changed the language preference in Firefox.
This link will show you the language preference header you are sending to websites. http://gemal.dk/browserspy/headers.php For the USA it should show - HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE: en-us

    No to proxies.
    I don't even have HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE entry in "about:config "
BTW, IE doesn't show that Malaysian "thingy ".

What does it say on that web page for the language header?
Sorry I don't know what you mean by "about:configâ€

    broni,

I can get the "pages from Malaysia" radio button from this link:
    http://www.google.com.my/

How are you accessing Google, i.e., what link are you using?

When I access Google main page from my bookmark (www.google.com) I can't see that Malaysian radio button:
    http://209.85.48.8/228/109/upload/p3273772.gif
Then, I have my Firefox address bar set to do automatic Google search (it opens in a new tab with results dispalyed). It's done by "about: config" entry:
    keyword.URL value: http://www.google.com.my/search?q=
If I do this, then I get that Malaysian thing:
    http://209.85.48.8/228/109/upload/p3273793.gif

    Broni,
    When you filter on:
    "keyword.URL "
in config editor, is it "user set" or "default" ?

    default is set in:
    ...\Program Files\..........\greprefs\all.js
    pref( "keyword.URL ", "http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q= ");

Check and see what yours is ?

In config it's "user set "

I can't find either "greprefs" folder, nor "all.js" file anywhere.
Should it be in Program Files>Mozilla Firefox?

    Broni,

    1. If it is user set, select the entry and then Right click and "reset "
    Does that chenge it ?

    2.
On My machine, I have Firefox 2.0.0.6 installed to the E:\
    ie.
    e:\Program Files\FF_2.0.0.6\
    \greprefs\ is a sub directory ......
all.js is in the \greprefs\ directory.

If you are running a ZIP install, I have no idea.

\greprefs\directory will be in the same directory as "firefox.exe"

    regards:captjlddavis

    Glad it worked....
Someplace along the way, it was set to the Maylay URL.
Double check and make sure it is not set someplace else via a user setting.
