I don't know if this will help -- but my version 4.0 did not work with XP -- But, they say 5.0 does.

    Actually I think it's 5.2 that works.
Roxio has a XP patch on there site. Follow instructions carefully, they have a certain order in the installation process.

Easy CD creator platinum (this means ver. 5) itself works fine with XP.

What doesn't work fine is the "other stuff" in the package - Take Two and Direct CD. The patch available form Roxio is for these functions.

I would anyways NEVER install Direct CD when you have the built-in CD function in XP which allows you to do the same thing (ie use Windows Explorer to copy-paste) though here you can actually make a CD that can be read by any CD Drive, which Direct CD can't!

Anyway, Direct CD makes a mess of the file system and slows the machine down and shoudl always be avoided on any system.

So, yes easy CD creator platinum ITSELF works fine on XP but...see above.

I prefer WinONCD myself. It too works fine on XP btw.
