irql_not_less_or_equal 0x0A. BSOD

    My laptops keyboard stopped responding. I tried every key, but none worked. Turned off, then on & the following BSOD appeared almost immediately. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Tech info, 0x0000000A (0X006C007A, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0X804F8C38).
    Re-booted, keyboard still not responding.
    Tried starting in safe mode but was unable.
    I'm convinced the keyboard is busted, but, wanted to know if anybody had come across this problem before & it wasn't a hardware/keyboard issue?
