    Hello everyone ...
    I have been having a graphics problem with my system which used to look great untill i installed the SP1 and it seemed to slow my puter down a little and made my graphics messed up too ...so i reinstalled XP pro and just updated from Windows update all but sp1 ...system runs alot faster now but graphics are a little fooked still...before with SP1 installed i would get kinda like studdering graphics not alot but when i would move back and forth in game i would get a studder here and there just enough to annoy me ..also certain edges in game like buildings and edges of mountains sometimes have like ripples that move when I move (hope im explaining this right :) ) so after the reinstall of XP without SP1 ...it seems to be better with the studdering but the messed up edges were still there ...next i read on this board that the soundblaster and video card shouldnt share irq's which they where so i moved sound card to unshared pci slot and moved the ethernet card which was sharing with the vid card to another slot ..which seemed to make things run little better but messed up edges are still there ....is it possible that changing the slots of that stuff or installing XP on my system when the IRQ's were sharing messed up something??? think I need to reinstall again with things in proper place?..
    here's my specs:::
    GAINWARD G4 4600TI,40 gig WD HD=ATA100,A7V-266-E mobo Bios 1011.,AMD 1800+@15.3,Gravis Exterminator Game Pad,1024MB 2100 DDR Ram Crucial, IBM 22" monitor,Dynatron HSF,Antec 830 Case w\5 fans,Soundblaster live,Cable Modem,Windows XP PRO.,Soho Ethernet card,HP 9110 CD Writer,Mitsumi CD rom

    It depends on what the Video is sharing with.

    I see you have a Cable Modem. But is there a possibility of an Internal Modem still being plugged in.

    If so it may well be causing some PCI IRQ steering problems.

    I have never had any problems with the Video card sharing an IRQ.

    Mine is sharing 10 with the two USB controlers and I have no problems.
