    Hi All,
I'm trying to add IPX/SPX protocol to my network card (win2k)
    and I'm getting the error
'could not add the requested component. the error is:
the specified path does not contain any applicable device INFs.'

can anyone tell me what the path should be, and how i change it?

    many thanks in advance

    Chris

See if any of This helps you out.

Got it now I think. Here.

Note that you may need to remove the NIC from device manager, shut down and remove it from the PC, start up and shut down again, and replace the NIC to allow a fairly clean start.

Also make sure you have the latest and greatest driver disk for the NIC.
