Hello, I have Ipodservices disabled and have deleted ipodservices.exe. I have checked the registry and there are no entries. It still shows up under services. Any help would be appreciated. I have also run SD and McAfee and they both show nothing unusual,

    Thanks

I'm guessing that you have Itunes installed. Itunes will restart the service even if you have it disabled. Even if you delete C:\Program files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe , it will show back up when Itune starts. I'm not sure how to get rid of it, short of getting rid of itunes. I'll look into it

AFAIK iPodService.exe is listed in Add/Remove Programs (at least I've seen information posted to that effect).

iPodService is not in the Add/Remove Programs, atleast not in my computer.

Dalep123, I've just tryed this and it works. In Task Manager, end both the iPodService.exe and the iTunesHelper.exe. Now go to C:\Program files\iPod\bin and move the iPodService.exe or delete it. Open Notepad and save it as iPodService.exe (make sure its not saved as iPodService.exe.txt or Itunes will reinstall the iPodService.exe file.) and place it in C:\Program files\iPod\bin

Reboot your computer, It worked for me.
