    Hello, I have an Ipad 1....take it everywhere to play my apps. Reciently while playing games or just looking around the app. store, where I was viewing or playing would just close and I'd be back on the tablet main screen. Can anyone help with this problem? I sure would hate to reset....would erase everything I've put In there.

    MrBill....thank you so much......it worked!! No more crashing. Held the on/off button In at the same time as the Home button and it resets. It shuts off and then the Apple Icon comes on and the Ipad start up again....didn't erase or change anything.
