Resolved IP address showing

    Hi folks.

    I have a VERY simple web site that I use to show my photos on, rather than carry a laptop around with me. If I want to show them I give out my URL.

    Here is my problem. When anyone types my URL up comes my site ok, but in the address bar it shows my IP address and not my site name.

    I'm using wamp and hosting my site on my own PC.
    A freind did say it's probably apache that is doing this.

    Can anyone tell me how to change this?

    While you're waiting...Google-> ip address shows instead of URL

    Steve thanks. Googled it............ Flippin eck. It'll take me YEARS to go through all the stuff on there.
