[Invalid Live ID and Xbox account]

Hello. My name is Tina. I hope this question is appropriate for this website. I have a windows live id created via Qwest and Windows Live. Qwest and Micosoft Windows Live were affiliated. At some point, this connection was dissolved. Once this happened, my windows live id became invalid. Windows Live did not accept this id anymore. Yes, I can and did creat a new id, but that is not the problem. I set up my daughters xbox account with this old id. xbox tech support cannot change it for me. Therefore I cannot log onto xbox. He suggested sending a question to Windows Live Solution Center to see if someone knows anything. Has anyone had any experience with Q.com window live ids? I cannot log onto windows live without an acceptable id. I can't make changes to the account because it does not let me log on. My own PC does not let me change the parent controls, because my windows live id is invalid. I'm in this eternal loop. Thanks-
