I have scanned my registry with a program called RegSeeker; it has told me I have 180+ invalid ActiveX/COM entries. Can this be the reason my system is running slow, and is it safe to remove these? The program has a "backup before deletion" option.

I have always deleted EVERYTHING RegSeeker found, and never had a problem. As noted, the backups are there. If alot of other entries were found too, it could contribute to slowdown. Might want to eplain what's going on in a bit more detail. :)
