Introduction

Hi! I'm a one + person office for a 501 c3 charity in New York-we have limited resources and try to put as much to the programs as possible.
We are a cross platformed office, though the MAc's are idle most of the time-- use them for design work mainly.
1 PC is upgraded to Windows 7, 2 add'tl PC's still run XP Pro.
we have "hi-speed" ( hah!) internet from Verizon.
We have a DocStar server and A Window Small biz 2003 server and our
wireless is handled by an Apple airport extreme.

I was previously the Ops manager and handled most of the IT, along with hired help-- feel i'm a good troubleshooter, know the usual suspects, but can be bamboozled like the rest of you. Like to try and tinker with a problem before I call in the heavy artillery and save the Foundation some $$$
