Introduction

I just thought I would introduce myself. I am a retired systems person from a large Canadian bank. I live in a retirement village just north of Toronto and I am the Web master for our Web site http://tecumsethpines.com

It's a very simple little Web site that allows outsiders to get to know us. There is a Resident's Only section that is secured. I spend some of my time helping other seniors with their computer problems and I also edit a quarterly newsletter.

I found this site because I asked a question about problems in detaching an external hard drive. I detached one this morning and when I reattached it, it failed to show up! It gave me an error message when I detached the USB port saying something like "Updates not Complete ". However, we hadn't used the external hard drive for over half an hour. Any thoughts on this?
