Introduction

I just joined the forum, and the instructions recommend introducing myself, so here I am.

I'm a UNIX system administrator by profession, but I use a Windows XP box at home (a 2001 Compaq Presario 5000) and have a company-issued Lenovo ThinkPad T61p laptop as well. They run XP Home Edition and Professional, respectively.

While I'm very comfortable with XP as a user, I've had to do very little troubleshooting with it -- hence my description of my experience level as
"intermediate" in my profile.

I look forward to learning a lot here, and occasionally contributing when I can.
